Loss of Words – thanks -solid list -Brooklyn Museum is OUTRAGEOUSLY priced! – $25K site fee and that doesn;t include ANYTHING – so then you have to bring in tables/linens/lighting and food etc
Oh Bubbys – never thought of that! – ok thanks will give her this list
Fordham Church must have been gorgeous – she doesn’t want to go outside of the NYC area unfortunately
That’s funny Arkady. I guess it makes sense that you would have been exposed to a lot of inside information in your line of work.
Your story reminds me of how a lot of information that is classified by the government is in the public domain. You can read a top secret memo and then read the same info in the NY Times but the memo is still classified.
As an aside I got invited to a wedding there and they sent out a link on what to expect at a Jewish wedding. The rings get put on the forefinger and then the bride and groom move the ring to their ring finger, for one.
I must stop procrastinating and do some work now. I’m such a child. I still HATE Mondays as much as I did when I had to go to school. And what I wouldn’t do not to HAVE to go to school – mandatory nap time!!!
The only jewish wedding I’ve been to in the past 15 years was at the Yale Club. They had a mariachi band.
Benson- it doesn’t qualify. He mentions fascism, not Hitler. 😉

Was supposed to be what I wouldn’t do NOW to have to go to school.
What I wouldn’t do THEN not to go to school. Or at least Hebrew School.

benson, whenever a union hack refers to the corporation as fascist, it’s usually just the typical run of the mill blathering.
Most union employees don’t even know what fascist means.
