  2. dcb — keep it by the book, act deliberately, have everything go through your lawyer. Don’t get into skirmishes outside of that line of communication. Broker’s job at this point is to show up at closing and collect a check. Keep the line of communication simple and professional. Take a deep breath and walk a few blocks anytime it gets wiggy.

  3. DCB, if the broker has been less than professional or just a plain old asshole, you need to remind her of that at closing by ripping her a new one. My broker and I both did that to the broker representing the buyer of my condo who was about the most obnoxious asshole we’ve ever met. We also made her late for her next closing!!!!!!!
