m4l…bagels MUST be toasted. The reason the cream cheese, otherwise known as the schmear, melted is because it’s cheap, inexpensive deli crap cream cheese and not Philadelphia.
We’ve had this entire discussion before!!!
BTW, thanks for alerting me to this new excuse of “cream cheese on my pants” when I have run into another sort of stain on my pants!!!!
Hi guy – am here early cause i have to leave in an hour for a job interview
M4L- you know I like you HATED toasted bagels with CC but I have developed a taste for it.
Seriously Charlie Sheen is just gross. He’s here on a trip with his 2 daughters who were in the next room – you couldn’t just hold off on your behaviour while in the company of your kids? Gross!
I hate it when my bagel is toasted and it melts the cream cheese. I explicitly told my co-worker “remember to NOT toast it”. now a chunk of melted cream cheese splat onto my pants. Arhhhh (channelling Rob here)
The September state unemployment numbers came out last Friday, and we couldn’t help noticing that three of the four states with the highest job losses were California (-63,500), New York (-37,600) and New Jersey (-20,200). The other was Massachusetts (-20,900). Texas, meanwhile, gained 4,000 jobs.
There is also a lesson here for Washington. The job-free zones of California, New Jersey and New York each tax the rich more than nearly all other states. In these states the top 1% wealthiest taxpayers bear roughly 40% of the state income tax burden, but their budgets are still a mess and the job losses continue.
I think I was out to lunch during that discussion, gem.
Don’t like bagels much. Too much chewing, too little flavor.
Good luck, gem.
Dibs -we discussed that yesterday – many of us do plan on getting the Keith book!
Anyone going to read “Life” the autobiography of “the most elegantly wasted human being?”

My soap box cut and paste of the day:
