who said the Bush administration didn’t attempt to regulate the Fannie Mae/Feddie Mac mess?
I seem to recall in 2003 and 2005 Bush’s Treasury Secretary Snow calling for better regulation of lending practices.
Both times they were shot down by congress by the following people:
Dodd
Franks
Waters
and assorted others who used the usual
“end all discussion” argument: Republican racism
after that, and in good economic times
who would have the political will to
stop the reckless lending practices?
it’s all there in the congressional record,
and youtube.
11217,
keep it in your pants!
“Ummm…did I come in at the wrong time? Does someone need to be alone with someone else????”

“what the hell is a manhole fire?”
a condition DIBS gets after a very rowdy evening.
Shady applies to motives/actions, not brains, you’re right. I should have used a diff. word. They may be crafty, but that doesn’t mean they’re bright.
