    I have no idea and don’t particularly care. I’ve never tried to hide the fact that I’m a mean spirited fraud.

    slopefarm: I think a drawn out discussion of federal preemption of state banking laws for national banks would be enough to get us both permanently banned from the OT. But I stand by my general qualitative statement about overall policy during the Bush years: neutral overall with respect to financial services, noticable tightening overall for public companies. On your statement re the OCC: duly noted, admittedly that particular detail is not one I could grab off the shelf, but again the OCC is not necessarily taking marching orders from the White House.
