Everyone had help, but a lot don’t like to acknowledge it.
Actually, most Black Irish I’ve know have extremely pale white skin, jet black hair, and light eyes (blue or green).

Gem, the Moors never invaded Ireland. The Spanish were trying to invade England in the 16th Century, didn’t work out too well and a dozen or so Spanish ships wound up sinking off the western coast of Ireland, the Spanish Armada. And the expression “Black Irish” is to describe the very dark haired, dark eyed, ivory skin — the legend is this type descended from the people that staggered into Western Island (????) Where’s Etson and dittoburg? I am sure there is something wrong in there…. Gotta get back to work.

I don’t dislike Thomas for his Affirmative Action comments, but I do hate him for all the “pull yourself up by your own bootstrap” comments. I think that’s stupid. No one succeeds without help. Period.
I don’t like to discuss Executive Order 10925 because most people have no idea what the full order entails and go off on silly rants about “race”.
