  1. Black Irish are from the Spaniards who survived the destruction of the Spanish Armada I believe. And my friend’s rommate was not Irish – the Five Towns reference should tell you that (oh, and this was at NYU back in the day).

  3. Based on my zip code and my name marketers assume I’m blck – I get all sorts of mailings for magazine subscriptions, book clubs, large size fashions, religious articles, etc., etc.
