I don’t think you can ever get all public schools to be equal. In affluent nabes you will have parental support and the kids will come in more prepared on average. The question is really what the floor is for what resources/services/offerings every school will have. Whereever that floor is, parents of means will supplement, but the issue is in raising that floor across the board.

im willing to guess the tribeca parents probably go overboard and are making some seriously spoiled little brats tho. i used to work at a gallery in tribeca part time and daaaaaaamn ive never seen brattier whinier self entitled kids in my LIFE! individual ipads for everyone in KINDERGARTEN!?! seriously…

The tornado apparently dropped some horseshoe crabs in brooklyn that it picked up somewhere^^^^^^^^^
