  1. I’m really happy with PS 107 so far. Parents are really involved and it seems like a great environment for the kids.

    Something I didn’t appreciate before now: Even though a school is public there is often a huge difference made by contribution of time and money by parents. I just wrote out some surprisingly large checks for PTA fees and it’s been made clear to me that I will volunteer for things. There is clearly a mix of public and private resources. The after school program is just incredible and as far as I can tell it’s basically a private endeavor.

    bedbugs have been proven to cause depression, high anxiety, paranoid delusions, multiple types of skin infections if the person scratches, and in some cases suicide! honestly, i really dont think enough is being done about this plague. nanny bloomberg is too focused on caring if someone lights a damn cigarette in a park than focusing on real issues that matter.
