“An example of the futility of egalitarianism, for what it’s worth.”
Completely agree with this, especially when it comes to school resources. No matter how much we try and make sure all schools get the same funding, parents with financial means will put up money and parents with time will donate as much as they can. Those are two things you just can’t compensate for with public resources.
M4L, he has a play pen. Still in the box. Actually, we opened it up, set it up and thought it was a stupid thing and may not use it. Kid looked like he was in jail. I hated it.
Maybe when he starts crawling and my Super SIGNIFICANT half is demanding a drink and I’ve got domicile subservient house wife duties to do, I’ll change my mind and use it.
There’s something happening here
What it is ain’t exactly clear
There’s a man with a bedbug there
Telling me I got to beware
I think it’s time we stop, children, what’s that sound
Everybody look what’s going down
There’s battle lines being drawn
Nobody’s right if everybody’s wrong
Young people speaking their minds
Getting so much resistance from behind
I think it’s time we stop, hey, what’s that sound
Everybody look what’s going down
What a field-day for the heat
A thousand people in the street
Singing songs and carrying signs
Mostly say, hooray for our side
It’s time we stop, hey, what’s that sound
Everybody look what’s going down
Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you’re always afraid
You step out of line, the bugs come and take you away
We better stop, hey, what’s that sound
Everybody look what’s going down
Stop, hey, what’s that sound
Everybody look what’s going down
Stop, now, what’s that sound
Everybody look what’s going down
Stop, children, what’s that sound
Everybody look what’s going down
that’s why that elementary school in tribeca is so so tricked out with supplies, computers,…. parents are contributing tons of time & $$$

My hair isn’t acting right today. Can I still blame it on yesterday’s tornado/microburst?
🙂
Sadly, I have a photo of me in the kitchen, barefoot and pregnant.
You win, M4L.
“Between all the snorting and stuck out tongues I feel like I’m surrounded by a bunch of coked out 5 year olds.”
Says the schoolyard bully.
😉
Speaking of schoolyards, that’s good to hear about PS 107, jackal.
TextperV, play pen is more for when they’re a mobile handful and particularly when you travel.
