Lech;
Bull$hit. As I said above, I was having dinner with men who build the world’s largest supercomputer, not a bunch of yahoos. I know whom I went to dinner with, and why they were angry.
Both Champs were born at Lennox Hill in the UES and the staff involved in the delivery were wonderful. However, the nurses in the recovery section would have put Nurse Ratched to shame. The change in attitude and assistance was enormous and somewhat bizarre.
wasder & lechacal…I don’t know ‘nuthin ’bout ‘birthin no babies but I bet that formula they pushed on you is outrageously expensive and very profitable to them!!!
The ball is in the LEFT’s court to show that government-run entities can work effectively here. The Left caves into every special interest in their tent – unions, rabid environmentalists, trial lawyers, you name it – with the results being that government-run entities here are a joke.
Please indentify one current government-run service that you believe is highly effective. Amtrak? The post office? Aren’t Medicaid clinics a wonder to behold?!?!!? And what a joy it is to deal with section 8 tenants!! Isn’t it wonderful to be on a city bus when a public school lets out?? You can just feel the “gratitude” these kids have for their free publci education, can’t you???
Shall we talk about the deficits that we are leaving our kids?
Once we have reform of what we already have, then we can talk about building up new government services.

“I’ll be bringing my shopping cart which should suffice for your tray of cookies, CGar’s brownies, G10 sweet squares, and DELEPP (hehe)”
m4l, you’re bringing your shopping cart for DeLepp? No homo?
