More coffee/barista puns anyone? I’m not going to wade into the heated debate on characterizing the tea party folks.
Benson, your comparison of the tea party with the 60s student protesters is interesting (I know you aren’t the fiorst to make it). If the analogy is historically accurate, they will ultimately provoke a mainstream electoral backlash in favor of the democrats. Have you read the book Nixonland?
Do I understand you correctly? The burden of proof is on those whom you and others deem “racist”? Is that what you’re trying to state? In other words, you are appointing yourself an inquisitor. Montrose states that a movement is racist without any evidence, it’s now up to their supporters to prove otherwise.
Sorry to say, I live in the great country called the United States. I don’t abide by those rules.
Lech;
I know you think you live 10,000 feet above us, but last time I looked Massachusetts elected a black governor.
Sorry for being in a pissy mood today folks. That’s all for me today. Carry on.
Australia’s immigration policy is not that strict. They have let hundreds of thousands of hong Kong citizens come in as long as they bring XXX amount of money…just like canada.
Additionally, it’s one of the few countries around the world where you can bring in a sae sex partner and they will get rights.
I’d say about the same % of the population is racist in both the US and Australia..60%, maybe 70%. They had an openly racist PM for a while.
“Asians with an Australian accent are HOT!!!!!!”
G’ay mate!
OK now I’m really off to have lunch. It will be a superior lunch at 10,000 feet.
Asians with an Australian accent are HOT!!!!!!
Yikes.

Here’s a link to NPR talking about how the Mexican government has it’s own plan to deal with poverty,
by just exporting it to the USA.

What they need down in Mexico is a revolution,
not a government printed comic book telling the poor how to enter the US illegally.
I used to think we were still fighting the Civil War, but it is obvious we are still fighting the Revolutionary War. also.
Oh boy legion. You get to defend your 2:09 all by yourself.
