  1. I don’t know what polls you guys are quoting (from FoxNews no doubt) but Quinnipiac poll says 16% are dems or leaning that way and 74% republican. And 77% voted for McCain- 15% for Obama.
And I think if really researched it, not all so grassroots as some portray…financial backing and organization from
rightwing aligned groups (and FoxNews a.k.a. RNC)

  2. quote:
Australia’s immigration policy is not that strict. They have let hundreds of thousands of hong Kong citizens come in as long as they bring XXX amount of money…just like canada.

THAT is exactly what the USA needs to do. ONLY, and i mean ONLY ONLY ONLY let people in who can bring money! perhaps it worked hundreds of years to bring in the poor, but i think we’ve hit the tipping point and we really do not need any more poor people. tho i do believe that immigrant poor are much much more productive members and less of a drain on society than our home grown poor (like myself lol)

  3. benson- go look for it yourself. I don’t have the time just because you would rather assume I’m lying. That’s your problem- not mine. And it’s a huge problem you got there.

As far as denying the overt racism- that’s your issue too. Cobble is right- I’ve seen the signs- there are plenty of pictures.try these for example: http://bk.ly/rey and if you give me your email address I have a whole bunch of images on my computer of signs, including one that says The American taxpayers are the Jews for Obama’s ovens. So what debate are you talking about? All I see from you are rants and insults. I see you added cobblehiller today to your long list of rantees.

  4. Pete, all you have on your laptop is the the malware? I’m nearing end of term with Norton and would like to not renew. Denton and bxgrl spoke highly of malware but forgot what was the other software they said was good to have in conjunction

  5. lechacal,

    there is nothing to defend,
I didn’t make the offer, Andrew Breitbart made the offer, he’s the editor of biggovernment.com.

if there is proof of this widespread racism in the tea party movement, I want to see it for myself as a Hispanic, and I will surely denounce it.
Until then, it is the left wing smearing those that oppose this presicent’s views with the largest club in the house; the term “racist”.

  6. I don’t think many of you’re not giving the american public enough credit. The shouts coming from the left(tea baggers) and from the right(tea baggers and sarah) are pure entertainment. The american public understands that. They know the issues at hand and our working their way to an understanding as their livlihoods are at stake. Skepteism runs high as many don’t expect handouts or that the govt will be the solution as many immigrated to US primarily to get away from dysfunctional systems. It will be interesting to watch what happens in NJ as the govt sector is too large to support the revenues. When you’re paying 18K in taxes for a 3 bedroom 2 bath ranch and creamed by the AMT something has to give.

  7. **ADVICE URGENTLY NEEDED**

I just got some very bad inside information on the building in which I’ve been planning to buy from a source who is definitely looking out for my interests. (I don’t want to elaborate on the OT.) I have an accepted offer, but I have NOT signed a contract, so I know I’m not legally bound to anything. I’ve been told NOT to buy. How do I get out of this? What do I tell my broker?
