  1. I think the Joy 3 editions back was best. Copyright 1964 – except it doesn’t have microwave nor Cuisinart. The next 2 got panned but the most recent one is supposed to be quite good – Edited by Susan Westmoreland of Good Housekeeping.

  2. Rush Limbaugh has threatened to leave the U.S. if Congress passes expanded health care coverage. Another reason it’s a really good idea.

  3. “Gourmet mag cookbooks, or the Bon Appetit cookbook.”

The words ‘Gourmet’ and ‘Bon Appetit’ scare me. Isn’t there a book titled ‘So you’re a Dope in the Kitchen’

  4. ” I have the most desirable one, if I recall”

Of course, you of the Wolf range in your kitchen, have the best one!! : P

Expert, You can also try Community books over here on Court Street/Warren, he might have some used copies.

  5. “Joy of Cooking and Good Housekeeping et all too basic. Even for you girl :-)”

Denton, you obviously have forgotten the cooking questions I ask!
I have some ethnic cookbooks but I want a basic cookbook and Easy to follow recipes.

“Epicurious online is a great site for recipes.”
That’s what I’ve been doing lately. Getting recipes online. But I’m old school and would prefer to flip through a book and if something catches my eye, Bingo.

  6. “So you had a slave. Is that what you’re saying?”

    SNORT!

[ENY, I’m imagining the arched eyebrow and the dry expression attached to this!]

  7. yeah but CH, there’s a whole dispute going on re the best version of Joy. I have the most desirable one, if I recall, I think it;s the last one with squirrel in it.
