dh,
yeah, like in Mobey Dick.
the sperm whales have a large sack full of oil to adjust their boyancy in deep ocean waters.
Not enough whales though and too many people.
dibs,
they’ve done bacterial analyses on the Gowanus waters, you don’t want to know what they’ve found.
but I’ll tell you,
stuff like cholera.
not good.
Ha ha for a while I would only read books I picked up for free at work (discards from review copies sent to us) but I had to stop, the titles were so bad. How to become famous in 30 days, tips for plastic surgery, weight loss, etc.
no, actually I like the idea of organic just as much as the next guy, and certainly what the farmer does with his land is his deal, but the article brings up a larger point about how no good deed goes unpunished.
agree with the need to start discussing how much of a human population is sustainable on a global scale.
I worry about the oceans.

DH, the labor to extract whale oil is expensive
Didn’t people used to make oil outta whales? why can’t we do that anymore?
EPA
Legion, no need to worry about the oceans. With the DEP taking over the Gowanus it’ll be clean in no time and you’ll be angling for stripers there.
What are you on? Can u call me in a prescription?
