I have an embarrassing little confession to make that makes me feel all icky inside even admitting. Lately i’ve become addicted to reading horribly written 20 something vapid transplant chick lit novels :-/ There is someone in my building, and a few houses on my block, who clearly read this crap because that’s where i’m picking up all these freebie books. Most of these were picked up when the weather was nicer… usually when I see free books i pick out a few novels and then store them away to read when im out of stuff to read.. Last year most of the books i read were about prostitutes, junkies, etc.., then i had a fascination of reading novels about young women living in the ghetto. now there’s a reversal im reading books like this (and enjoying them!) probably not unlike how some people like to read trashy romance novels. question, do you think this a bad thing, like meaning has my masochistic side been so deprived of literature that it has sought out these kinds of books? most of the time i let the Universive dictate what i read, meaning, if i see a book on a stoop, i pick it up and read it and get something out of it. the book im reading right now taught me a new word i never heard before. “Friendcest” :-/ apparently it’s like friends with benefits, but it’s nothing like friends with benefits at all.
Can anyone cover me for fish/cat duty tonight? I can double shifts this weekend, or tomorrow, friday, whatever.
LFW – We chewed it over yesterday & now Mr. B has posted it. (Anyone know if Mr. B has any baby Brownies?)
Arkady, not a lefty? You’d be surprised – while I’m a righty for most activities, there’s a few where left is king.
rob – Denton’s doing today. You said you had laundry & we have you for tomorrow (Thursday) for fish & felines. Cobble’s doing Friday.
Organic cheese puffs??? Too guilty to eat the real thing???
rob, ANY reading is good reading.
But what percentage of that is being used to pump out cheese puffs? I`m guessing 40%.
Good morning y’all,
I know it’s been awhile but I thought I drop this post I found on CNN. Let the debate begin!

Good days, they come around the oddest corners.
