well business world more along the lines of anything but medical type of thing.. think about the cable company? jesus christ! they give you like a 6 hour window to take a day off work all day and then not show up and never have a reason.

i was shocked that when i called the dermatologist for an appointment they give me one that’s THREE weeks away. meanwhile my condition is worsening everyday!!!
Despite my post above as to the annoying waits at the doctors office, if I have an emergency I can usually be fit in the next day. So I’ve never complained to them because of that.
Don’t ask what would entail an emergency.

DIBS does the emergency have anything to do with what would “fit in”? Or the limit of? LOL

Rob, if it’s that bad, go to the emergency room? Infection is nothing to toy with.
rob, a dermatologist appointment three weeks away is usually the best you’ll ever get.
Besides, yesterday when the receptionist didn’t give you directions, you probably copped a ‘tude with her!!! LOL
Rob, you should try my derm…Dr. Jeffery Ainspan. I can usually get appt same day or within a few days. He’s actually good too.
lesbiman, it usually already did fit in and i just need a shot for it. 😉
“there are lots of people even in the business world who do the EXACT same thing.”
Actually Rob does have a point with respect to certain trades…painters, plumbers, contractors, etc. They can be pretty awful too.
But I don’t know of any other professions that deal with appointments / clients like that.

Ummmm, no. They do not make their clients wait or they wouldn’t have any. Not in the real business world. Maybe at your bodega.
