“Part of the delay can be if the doc makes rounds in hospital in morning first.”
This is true, my Primary care doc does rounds. And he has to make calls during the day responding to questions from the hospital. But still, really, the waiting rots!
doctors make you wait because they feel they are entitled to plain and simple. there are lots of people even in the business world who do the EXACT same thing.
Biff, sounds like you need a new doc.
Anyone ever have an orthopedist appt? You’ll wait hours.
Part of the delay can be if the doc makes rounds in hospital in morning first. Can be an excessive case load or more complex cases requiring more time. Or there may be more pressing patient issues occupying the doc’s time (i.e. urgent phone calls from patients). However, it would be expected for the doc or his/her office manager to at least say “I’m sorry for the delay”. Common courtesy. Sounds like you did not get treated like a human being, Biff.
Speaking of doctors, while I have great respect for them, why the heck do they always make patients sit in a waiting room for at least 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time before them?

They are probably posting on Brownstoner or some other blog while you’re waiting for them.
I got fixed up with a cardiologist by a friend once — the guy was WAY LATE (can’t believe I waited) for a date, no explanation, just…..well, I’M A CARDIOLOGIST…. that’s what people do when they deal with me…..they WAIT.
Apparently there’s a huge class action suit against yelp. Turns out that their salespeople offered to hide negative reviews or put them lower down on the listing page in exchange for higher ad revenues!!!!!!!

Cobble, Legion will surely blame the Democrats for the long wait times.
Kidding Legion, but what gives?
does the pump and dump method work?
