  1. F*CK!!!! The nice side of me came out again at 10:20!
I’m a dope. I should have snagged that lamp for 30 smackaroos.
    Why am I so honest???
aaaaarrgggghhh, it would have looked so good in my living room.

  2. having to shovel snow on the public sidewalk in front of your property is pretty much just an urban legend!! and if someone tries to sue you if they fall all you gotta say is that you were not home!

    *rob*

  3. supposed to clear snow from sidewalk in a day or something after storm finishes.
But if you do clear the snow and someone falls then can get lawsuit. If don’t clear at all, you are better off lawsuit-wise.

  4. *rob*, while 30 bux, is very enticing and I would jump on it. But I don’t want to take advantage of you.
    DO NOT SELL THE LAMP!!

If it’s a mid century chrome, it’s probably worth a couple of hundred dollars. And if it’s an Eames, probably worth more. Although I don’t think it’s an Eames. I think he designed his shafts thinner. I’m no expert, mind you. But I know what looks good.

DO NOT SELL THE LAMP! Tough it out till next Tuesday. Take care of the lamp and in a few years hopefully it’ll be worth more.

  5. these are the days I tell my wife that I love living in an aptmt – don’t have to shovel snow, worry about people slipping & suing us,…..

btw, what’s the law on shoveling the snow? does one have to employ someone to keep shoveling the sidewalk throughout the day while you’re at work?
