54th between Park & Madison. My office window looks across at the Hotel Elyssee. There are four rooms at the top with outdoor terraces. Nobody seems to be on them today.
ET, when I walked through Fulton Park to the subway this morning, I noticed just that. I thought it was a great “money shot” for Bob Marvin and some of the other photographers.
Finally, we are remaining in New York today because
flights everywhere are being cancelled all up and down
the East Coast awaiting… not because of… but
awaiting a snowstorm. Schools are cancelled in New
York City today awaiting…not because of… but
awaiting a snowstorm. This is absurd. We have
become a nation of sissies and it is embarrassing. It is
one thing to shutter an airport because of blizzard
conditions, but it is entirely another to shutter in the
east coast of the country awaiting snow. Have we
really come to this? Are we now fearful of fear? Are we
a nation with a great military capable of effecting our
will almost anywhere if we wish to do so, but with a
people afraid of snow? Has it really come to this?

Step away from your computers, put on your snow boots and go outside. The snow is sticking to tree branches. It is truly beautiful.
