tyburg, the school was probably having specific grade testing or something, like testing 11th graders and letting the other grades out early? i remember it was always like that in school for me, no clue if they do that in nyc, but id imagine they do.
or maybe it was just a bomb scare. it’s funny we used to get those A LOT. it must have been the same wackadoos calling them in all the time cuz this was back in the early 90s when there were like no bombs and stuff.
Tyburg:
aren’t kids in many of the crowded schools on some sort of shuffle scheduled. So I think make do actually attend school from 7am – 1pm and then a new shift starts from 11am to 5pm
I agree though I think kids should be in school for 8 horus a day. I also think we teach our kids unecessary subjects
I have had at least a dozen petitions I’ve signed to ask CBS either not to air that ad or to allow differing ones. It’s been all over the news for at least a week.

Rob, unfortunately, it’s “None of the above” most of the time. 🙁
(But I agree, it can never be all of them.)
this made me laugh…

Denton, thought that spiker or whatever company just bought saab.
“My saab is nearing the end of its useful life.”
Yeah, and the company died.
TextperV, I would weigh that new Focus vs. the Mazda3 as my new commuter car. My saab is nearing the end of its useful life.
^^and I’m not referring to Alex Trebek.
