fish & tofu for lunch – something wife ordered last night, didn’t like it, and since we’re saving to buy a place – it’s now my lunch instead of into the trash it goes
I think retail will pick up, and in fact I think that the BID is having a positive impact already, at least in terms of the appearance of the street. There are a couple of new restaurants getting ready to open on Fulton, so I am hopeful about the long term. I am, it must be noted, almost pathologically upbeat about things like this. Just having the sidewalks cleaner has made me feel better about everything. I think Mr B should do a follow up about the BID controversy now that we have had some time to see it in action.
i hear that- i think if i entered the market a little earlier or a little later i might have been able to swing (and would have swung) something similar. i like being able to walk to FG and PH too
wasder, if the freaking retail around fulton picks up as we have hoped, you would be in a pretty good location and your purchase price would be consider pretty low entry point

blowfish–my professional situation gives me flexibility that many don’t have and make my domestic choices wider so I am lucky and thankful for that.
here’s the Slate’s piece on the Tebow ad:

I am surprised that no one else has taken on CBS for the rejection of the GLBT ad, but maybe they’re gearing up to…
