I hear you M4L. There are definitely some places that make you scratch your head as to what the seller is thinking. The Downing one you mention is in such bad shape. The better renovated ones in similar range make more sense. I think what makes the blocks of Clinton Hill you are talking about make more sense than Crown Heights or some of Bed Stuy, at least for me, is that I wanted to stay in walking distance of my favorite neighborhood stuff (also have lived in Clinton Hill for 8 yrs). So getting a house for around a million that was renovated, had a great rental income and a yard, still in the same neighborhood, was the right move for me.
Slope, was referring to Pete whom I was predicting would pop up soon after my post.
wasder, sounds like you’re sittin pretty…Pretty Boy
My money is on M4L. Us immigrant ex-commies stick together.

“a Christian non-profit advocacy group”
These sorts of organizations need much finer scrutiny on the separation of church and state issue and their tax-exempt status.
Why isn’t the ACLU or the GLBT or anyone else pursing these issues?
hey, was my name mentioned? I just got back from my hourly break.
“a Christian non-profit advocacy group”

I’ll add this to the list of ‘my reasons for not watching the Superbowl’.
