“Smith and Court streets at 7am is a disgusting site. Litter everywhere.”
Agreed. When I moved to B Heights and first started walking along Court, I was quite surprised at how much garbage was on the streets. It was odd how different it is from other nice nabes.

I was only kidding, sorta. What I do notice and this might come off sounding biased is that older folks – italians & west indians primarily are big stoop sweepers who tend to keep their outside homes clean.
also marine park might be located where the wind picks their garbage up and dumps it in park slope
I think the Democrats have alot riding on President Obama’s speech tonight. Will he go the way of Jimmy Carter, or reset, as Bill Clinton did? President Clinton accomplished a great deal after he was given a rebuke in the 1994 elections. To his great credit, he picked himself up and recalibrated.
No f**king 4 or 5 trains this morning. No announcements at Borough Hall. People 12 deep on the platform. Finally give up and take the 2 or 3. Finally an MTA announcement at Fulton Street that there’s no service due to an “investigation” at Atlantic Avenue. WHY IS IT SO F**KING DIFFICULT FOR THE MTA TO LET PEOPLE KNOW WHAT’S GOING ON?????
“12 deep on the platform”
Like there was ANY chance I’d let this one go no matter what.

ROFL. So true.
“yeah does anyone else always feel like they just got caught with their pants down and holding a jellybag when brownie pops in and comments?”
Yes.
