  1. Blowfish,

this one is for you…and John Stewart (that intellectual giant whose finest moment was his oscar worthy role in Big Daddy) 😉

By Dick Morris And Eileen McGann 01.11.2010 The Republican tide is now so strong that there is even a chance to take away the Kennedy Senate seat in Massachusetts. A January 9th survey by Public Policy Polling has Democrat Martha Coakley and Republican Scott Brown in a dead 48-47 heat. Rasmussen, in an earlier survey, had Coakley only 9 points ahead.

If Brown were to take the seat it would end the Democrats’ 60 vote supermajority in the Senate. Health care would probably still pass if the House just accepted the Senate version, but nothing else would. The Obama revolution will be over and he will have to negotiate with Republicans to have his way.

I will be sending money to the Brown campaign today. te he he.

  2. Lesbiman, agreed her work is nothing short of amazing. Her blending techniques was a great inspiration for me when I was once an artist. Of course those days are long gone. Narcissus has taken over while Goldman has gone to sleep.

You would love the museum in Santa Fe not to mention NM. You really see first hand how much the NM desert inspired her. If you ever go, drive down Turquoise trail.

  3. lesbiman, yeah her body was pretty nice. I didn’t read the biography but saw a movie about her (don’t ask) and read about some of her life. She was definitely an outcast at those times and was probably viewed as a whore of some sort for having a married man take nude pictures of her as well as having an affair with him shortly after.

lossforwords, never been to Santa Fe but I know it was her special retreat and she loved going to New Mexico and moved there later on in her life after Steiglitz death.

  4. DeLepp, thanks for the house porn. Just my style. Not sure if you remember me mentioning, my dream is to retire in Southern Spain.

I’d redo the bathroom tho. I’m not a big fan of marble tile. And while I’m sprucing up, I’d redo the HVAC diffusers and do hidden linears.

  5. LFW,
haven’t been to NM but that will be the 1st place I go to.
I adore her work. She has the most phenomenal way of dissipating a line into nothing. Nothing short of amazing in oil medium as well. Even if you look closely you cannot tell where the line ends.
