  1. biff,

    That’s an intriguing ethical question.
my feeling is that is seems to undermine the principals of
diminishing marginal returns. somewhere in college economics we were taught that the value of a product is diminished with consumption.

That person eating the oreo cookies consumed the product without paying the expected value of that item at it’s maximal utility (in a hotel room at 3:00AM).

I think it would be excusable only in the case of someone who didn’t really have the money to pay.

  2. LFW that sounds like a great site. A colleague of mine is always quoting his dad,a redneck from the south. It is always entertaining for the “wisdom” that he spouts.
I’ll have to check when I’m hope FB + Twit is blocked here.
    Thanks for the info.

  3. Makes sense, blowfish, and that’s why being a lawyer is so dumb. (you’re one, too, right?) We spend all day sorting out the ethics of something that the hotel couldn’t care less about.

  4. “Biff, will have to check with my people. I’ll have them get back to yours.”

Shoot, I’ll have to run out and get some people first.

blowfish, are you joining us at Last Exit?
