  1. Keep pressing for the return of a kitchen redo…I need something nicer than my own kitchen to look at. I’m off for my afternoon nap (oh, the pleasures of unemployed!) Maybe when I return there will be some subzero, granite and zebra wood to salivate over 🙂

  2. northsloperenter…..where do I begin? Most high end restaurants throughout the world take reservations. Flatbush???

On the coffee thing, don’t ever ask anyone younger than 40 or anyone in a metal cart on the street to put milk or sugar into your coffee. You’ll argue with them over it and it’ll ruin your day.

  3. Can anyone explain to me why higher end restaurants don’t take reservations?

I mean, if you are superhip and somewhere with massive foot traffick, then, sure… I can see not taking reservations.

But if you are on the corner of st. marks and flatbush (yes, I’m talking about you Flatbush Farm) would it kill you to let me reserve a table for dinner so I don’t have to worry about wandering around in the cold on a Wednesday night looking for a place to eat.

In other news, I’m open to suggestions for a nice restaurant on 7th or 5th btwn flatbush and 1st street that DOES take reservations. I believe Rosewater and Stone Park do take reservations. I know al di la and flatbush farm don’t.

Bonus question: what the hell inspires people in coffee shops to respond to my request for a “medium coffee with just a little sugar” to put about 6 spoonfuls of sugar in 12 ounces of coffee. Most good chocolate is less sweet than this.

  4. MR.B……….HEEEELLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOO??
