So Case-Schiller presents a downright dismal report – “Prices for homes in the New York area declined at a faster rate in November than in any other month on record”
Now I present to you THE DIBS DUMB QUOTE OF THE DAY.
For 1/28/09 we get this doozy from the one and only ghetto cheerleader. So stupid you just can’t make this stuff up!:
“Off 8.6% year-over-year. That’s less than the typical “10% off of ask” that would be normal for a buyer to offer a seller; in normal times I might add!!
OMG, that kitchen is freakin beautiful. Can’t accuse it of being any more sterile than the all-white, anti-germ kitchens of 1890-1920. I especially love that the stove and fridge sit separately by themselves, just as in an old kitchen. Also like the floating effect of the counter. And no, I wouldn’t tear out an original kitchen to put this in, but it is a beautiful modern one. The window makes the whole thing.
Unfortunatlely, I missed all the snark whilst negotiating the contract to buy a house. And working, even.
You’re right I should be more specific, and I would love to be. But it’s a little hard to tell when there are so many imaginary characters here. Bubble and Chiff and 11233 are pretty unlikely to show up, wouldn’t you say.
How are you fairly certain about others.
Like I said, I HAVE TO SEE who’s going and then I’ll decide. I did put the date in my calendar and won’t schedule anything else.
