Maybe Mr. B hasn’t responded to our “oh where, oh where has the white kitchen gone, oh where oh where could it be?” gripes because he’s doing everything solo now. He’s too busy to have even noticed it slipped off the screen let alone read our requests for an answer as to why it’s gone.
CMU…I’m SO sorry if my 2:09 post disappointed you.
But it is as it stands. No re-write required.
And if I do say so myself (patting myself on the back) it is up there with one of my best ones.
Of course no one here will understand it ;-), and it was specifically crafted for a special someone.
Hubby are you reading this?
I think Mr. B is being extremely pompous today in not explaining the removal of the ULTRA WHITE Kitchen. Sort of like when you ask your parents why? It’s because I said so.
OK..that’s better. I agree with you on eating elsewhere if they won’t take reservations.
I think any restaurant that serves alcohol and has a wine list should take reservations or they are just lazy or understaffed. It usually winds up being a bad dining experience for one of many reasons.
If you’re a BYOB, it might be different. Most BYOBs in Philly take reservations. Philly is so much more civilized.
“THEN CALL AND MAKE A RESERVATION. IF THEY CAN”T GIVE YOU ONE THEN YOU WILL KNOW THEY ARE FULL AND YOU’LL HAVE TO WAIT.”
Um… I must have expressed myself badly.
Flatbush Farm does not accept reservations for a party of less than 6 people.
So, if you want a table for 2 (which I do), you can only get it on a “first come, first served” basis.
Flatbush Farm strikes me as an expensive enough place that they could do me the courtesy of reserving a table for me, but they see things differently, so I will eat elsewhere.
I just don’t get the whole “we don’t take reservations” thing for a restaurant that isn’t likely to get a lot of people walking in off the street.

whomever owns that kitchen I’m sure wishes each and every one of us eat a poison black and white cookie today.
Was it a black & white cookie?? All this talk of them makes me want to run out and get one.
BRG, did he propose to you over milk and cookies?
