“I picked up a one-dollar umbrella”
ONE dollar???? ONE???? And you’re SURPRISED it flew apart within minutes?? You couldn’t part with four additional measly bucks for the (equally cheap, but longer-life) $5 version?? At least the $5 umbrella will get through most of a week before falling to pieces. You got what you paid for!
Obviously we’re going to get no explanation. For those who missed the kitchen, here’s the original in all its frostiness and grandiosity; maybe the comments will continue.
We just had Chinese New year lunch here at the office of the Mutant Hedge Fund. Lots of racist discussion about Chinese and then we all had fortune cookies.
I have a video at home called “Fortune Nookie”
I like Mexican desserts as well and I’ve had my share of shoo fly and sweet potato pie…
D’OH, I meant “chocolatiest”.
Please accept my deepest apologies.

BRG, of course you can get it with nuts. Did you not notice the White Chocolate Macadamia cookie bursting with white pockets of flavor?

That was truly hilarious ditto! I’m pretty sure I’ve met that umbrella.
MM, Steve Carrell would be prefect!
unfortunately I was more Mr. Bean than Steve Carrell
Ditto…that made me laugh out loud…for that I thank you!
‘no acerbic acid in my batter’
Aaarrgghhh, why can’t I say what I really want to say!!
….the batter.
I hold my tongue.
[sigh]
dittoburg, that was a great story, I picture a Steve Carrell type person struggling with a malevolent cheap umbrella. My sympathies.
