Me and the man were just at Duanne Reade the other night waiting to get a refill on my pre-nat vitamins and he was browsing in the paperback section. $10 for a paperback. Big type, short chapter, quick read book.
I said, they’re on crack. You need to get a library card! We have a room in our house that has bookcases bursting at the seams. We love reading. These days though? the pricing is out of control.
I also can’t do the kindle thing. I spend enough time at a screen I like the feel and smell of a book in my hands.
Jeez, real linoleum + installation is expensive.
$7,000 to $10,000 for two kitchens, two microscopic baths, and a mudroom.
Just thought you’d all want to know that.
I guess we’re gonna have to be normal and order vinyl from Home Depot or wherever, where I think it costs about 3 cents, considering that Bushwick is practically paved in it.
Agree 100%, THL – why I don’t have cable. (or any other form of t.v. – yet.)

THL – Paperbackswap has saved me. It’s why I had to drop out of the casting discussion – don’t know who 2/3 of the people are.
Thanks, Kens, but I have to order the new antenna first – just haven’t done it. But I may take you up on the offer when I do get one.
I do Arkady but it’s insanely overpriced and while it pains me to feed the beast I’m a TV junkie.
