Michelle Bachman just announced that the Dems want to sabotage her so she doesn’t become the first woman president…..MWHA HA HA HA HA HA HA. I’d vote for Sarah Palin before I would vote for Bachman. Even the Republicans cdringe whenever she opens her mouth!

DIBS, speaking of A/C, went to 2 buddies’ house for bbq recently and they both got the split units (both fujitsu) – 1 in each room. they told me it was more than 50% cheaper than the 2 zone central air they got quoted and they believe their electric bills have been lower than what their research on electric bill was with central air. The only issue for you is those units will be visible on the wall vs. tiny air ducts via central air
A colleague of mine emigrated to NY from Honk Kong about 30 years ago. One of his first jobs was to drive a yellow cab. He likes to tell the story (and he is pretty funny when he does) about one of his first pick-ups. Two guys get in,and when he asks them “Where do you want to go?”, they replied “Just drive around”. One guy then proceeded to service the other in the back. My friend likes to say “There I was, a naive new immigrant and this was like my *welcome to NY* experience”.
