You are imposing your own extranrous views on a question of
interpretation of others’ writings.
I think you can only accuse ‘Fundamentalist Christians’ of being inconsistent with the Bible on the latter point (imposition of their views via government). The former two are open to debate, but there is as much if not more biblical (New Testament as well) support for the ‘fundamentalist’ view as the liberal one.
bxgirl, I’m certainly not anti-gay or anything, (maybe cuz I’m not religious) but finding anything in the Scriptures to support gay rights is a hard task indeed. Obviously there were practical reasons to be anti-gay in 1000 BC, but there you have it.
Well certainly the ancient Romans and Greeks were not anti-gay.
