  1. Tybur6, if you have a master’s in teaching X, you’ll be more or less automatically certified, so it doesn’t matter if your undergrad degree was in Y. I majored in Religious Studies. Of course some stupid bureaucrat in the then-Board of Education tried to tell me I wasn’t qualified – “Um, this is a SECULAR institution, we don’t teach about RELIGION” were her exact words – but the state overruled her. There are also a few exams to pass, but they’re really easy. The correct answer is never d) kick the student in the nuts. You also have to attend a two hour Violence Prevention Seminar. I don’t remember ever doing this, but a friend did it at Brooklyn College and the prof lectured for the entire time about how masculinity causes violence.

  2. you know what really irks my buttons? unemployment statistics. they claim unemployment is almost at 10 percent. hello, that is such baloney. id wager a guess that the REAL unemployment rate for adults (non senior citizens) in the nyc area is about 30-40 percent. and don’t give me the whole “oh it’s that percent for people who can work” or “want to work”. some people are just plain LAZY. and some people just have tons of MONEY that they dont have to work. so stop with the 10 percent and just say it’s 40-50 percent because that is what is real.

  3. All I know is Mrs. C is far from giggly OR submissive when I’m around!

DIBS, to your point, should we suggest to Mr. B that he includes in the login profiles a space to state one’s sexual preference, including any fetishes? If he implements this, you might need a few extra pages added to your profile.

  4. Thanks THL! It makes perfect sense. I am blessed in that I would not need income immediately (I have no dependants and some savings) but feel like I need to get a more defined plan before I go ahead.
