Kens,
re your contractor post, it almost sounds like it might be a little *too* easy no? Sounds like it would be a weekend job for a few mates, not a fully licenced and insured jobby?
6years- my brother in law has been teaching for many years- you guys could swap some stories, I bet! A few years ago my sister went into teaching but the combination of work and having to go back to school to get a math masters was just too much. I was relieved when she quit going for her degree because she was totally exhausted and getting sick. They put her under so much pressure- I don’t know how she stood it for 6+ years. And she loved teaching- got no support form the Brd of Ed. This is a woman who graduated summa cum lauda from Fordham and who wrote an advanced computer program for a senior class that the university took over because it was so useful.
And I think a lot of middle-aged or older people would go teach if conditions were better and they got better support.
You know they have specific websites where people can find and indulge in any sort of ‘proclivity’ they want and chat about in excessive detail for literally hours on end (granted some require a credit card).
