Speaking of House Hunters, anyone catch the International show in Italy on the Amalfi Coast? I couldn’t believe the couple that chose that shack on the hill with the 750 steps to climb and when they do renovations, which they will definitely have to do, the only way to get the materials up to the house is by donkey. I was stunned as they were in their late 40’s or 50’s and all I could think about is having to climb those steps when they get older.Yes the view was great but 750 steps with groceries?

My cat likes to doze in the tub or on the floor in front of the dishwasher in the kitchen. I prefer when she does that because she’s a total fan hog.

Adam…congrats on the upcoming proposal! How are you going to do it?

Cats are smarter than human beings. They always lay on the tiled floor on hot days. The really smart ones go straight to the bathroom sinks.

My folks moved from NY to Virginia after retiring and they have mostly hardwood floors but…they do have a really lovely tiled area in the kitchen/sitting room and nothing feels better after coming inside on a hot day than feeling those ice cold air conditioned tiles on your feet. Sometimes I’ll just lay down on the floor with a pillow under my head and watch TV.

Hot weather + Cold Feet = Happy me.

Common sense isn’t common afterall! We should rename it…any ideas?
