I’m afraid Majorca is full of red terracotta floor tiles. Just sayin
snappy, if i wasnt such of high moral stature, i could have stolen 100s of unattended laptops at the starbucks around the corner from me (the one dipster was speaking of) over the last 8 years ive worked here. people are so naive sometimes.

On Sunday afternoon a patron of Haas Beans on 5th between 17th and 18th in GH got her laptop stolen. She apparently went to the bathroom and a guy just strolled into the shop, picked up her laptop and strolled away. The police showed up and she had to hop in the backseat while they took of looking for him based on a description other patrons gave. If you take your laptop to a coffee shop, NEVER WALK AWAY FROM IT!!! Unless you really don’t want the thing anyway. Not saying she deserved to have it taken or anything, but people need to exercise a little common sense.
Only 2 more days til I leave for Majorca!!! I’ve got the white linen suit already to go!!!

well you know I love to watch HGTV – I think the reason why tile floors are so popular in the south and southwest b/c frankly they are cold to the touch. Those places are soo hot, it’s probably nice to come home to cold tile underfoot, no?
am not into tile – but I see the allure….
Rob- They tile the floors in Florida and places like arizona, Vegas etc.. due to the heat. The tile floors stay cool on hot days. I agree with you that they are ugly but have you seen the people from Flordia? Just as ugly.
They also like carpeting because it’s baby proof, Also ugly and not my taste.
Don’t get me started when they use the laminate Pergo fax wood floors. Sounds like you are walking on plastic.
