Open Thread

The church thread, dibs. I know benson is going through a tough time lately but he needs to calm down. ok, ok! I know. Who am I to talk? 🙂 But when a veritable saint like Bob Marvin can be irked and fought with, what is going on? Whatever it is benson, I really hope you don’t leave.

DH- I tend not to read books that start out with a set idea or agenda because most of them tend to be flat or shallow in their thinking. I’m squarely in the agnostic camp and I envy those who are firm in their faith, I really do. On the other side of that coin, sometimes people of faith need a reality check. But not for their faith- for their interpretation of their holy books. Then there are the atheists who simply insult people for having faith. It is so complicated maybe no one could write about it really but I have to say the title of the book itself- the G-d Delusion- was really off-putting to me. So I am curious about your take on it.
