  1. “If you want to read the other side of the story at some point try ‘There is a God’ by Antony Flew or ‘The Reason for God’ by Tim Keller.”

I wasn’t going to go here, but haven’t we been hearing the other side of the story basically our whole lives? Even in politics, whereby there is supposed to be separation of church and state, we hear endless references to God and religion. It’s amazing that there are any non-believers whatsoever with all of the religious propaganda (for lack of a more tactful term) we are fed from childhood on.

  2. Also Bxgrl – you probably wouldn’t like the Bill Maher documentary “Religulous” While he made compelling arguements, the whole tone of the film was snarky and condescending to those who are people of faith.

  3. just got back with the dogs. does anyone in park slope work during the day? it’s more crowded now than on weekends.

asking once more what is the exact address of the bar tonight, and cross streets. the train thing isnt going to work for me, especially during rush hour.

of if someone can tell me what stop is nearest the bar (not 20 blocks away hahahha jk arkady), that would be great i have to pick something up in manhattan tomorrow, but can do it today as well, so if a bk bounch manhttan train works that is good.

also, is clinton hill safe? lol im not in the mood to be wandering around the ghetto. im SO over that stage of my life
    *rob*

  4. I hear ya bxgrl – i guess my dumbed down take on everything is I don’t like to be preached to. If you believe something I don’t, explain it to me. I’m always willing to listen and learn something new.

I’m at the point in the book now where he’s developing his hypothesis so I can’t really give too much of an opinion about it – but I’ll report back next week when the OT is slow and I have finished.
