Ah – gotcha bxgrl. well regardless i hope benson doesn’t leave us. love his stories about brooklyn past and friday’s trivia!
I had a little trouble getting into The God Delusion at first but right now it’s a pretty quick read. Can’t say I agree with everything, but it’s interesting to read the other side of things after being subjected to catholic school for several years.
DH, Richard Dawkins tutored a couple of people I knew at college. They thought he was great, although he was not that well liked generally. One of the folks I knew subsequently came out though, which would not seem to fit in that well with all the Selfish Gene stuff.
If you want to read the other side of the story at some point try ‘There is a God’ by Antony Flew or ‘The Reason for God’ by Tim Keller.
DH- I think you mean the preservationist/tear ’em down debate brings out the worst. Montrose stays eminently reasonable (never one of my strong points)- but benson seems determined to find something wrong with everything she says. The odd thing is that they actually agree on many things in general.
What do you think of the G-d Delusion? I haven’t read it yey
M4L, be prepared to stay late. Amzi has many positive qualities, but punctuality isn’t one of them!
DH, I’ve been meaning to read that book forever (along with Invisible Man). Let me know how it is.
Any PLUSAs know which stop on the C train is closer to Rope, Lafayette or Clinton-Washington?

Yes, Danielle is a bit koo-koo for cocoa puffs! And yes, Noki, I cringed throughout, was in a similar state myself, but like the train wreck that it was, impossible to look away!
Well, it won’t be great for J, Dina and Caroline will abuse her mercilessly for this, but BRAVO to J’s husband, yes, THL, what a MAN!! Yes, T was clearly upset that HER party was wrecked by something that never should have happened and Danielle’s comment just set her off, understandably, but WHOA! What a reaction! That was some crazy ass sh*t!
