DH, The Benson / MM debate was on the Church thread yesterday (and early today!). I like both of them a lot, but don’t get the feeling that Benson is going anywhere.
One the subject of high schools, thought this was a pretty amusing article (although it may be just me because we didn’t have high scool graduation):

The Brooklyn kids come off pretty well. The guy that was ‘born to hold a cigar’ not so much.
benson is a really good guy- he’s fun to debate with for the most part but lately he’s been really down on montrose. But I hope he shows tonight. I really want to meet him (benson I hope you’re reading this).
gotcha m4l – yeah benson rules. i always like reading the arguements between him and montrose. neither is wrong, they just have fundamentally different ways of looking at things – although i can’t really recall things ever getting too nasty between them – alas i was probably sidetracked on some stupid bike lane thread.

DH, no specific thread; in gen’l, benson debates with bxgrl and Montrose often – one of the few match-ups where the reading is good
LOLZ at the thought of walking a mile for this event. you people aint the cast of Melrose Place!! (the new one that starts in september). i think ill just take a cab. yeah booooooooo cabs are bad. i dont want to take one either, but i cant conceptualize where this bar is in my mind’s map. ill just get lost if i walk anyway.

GB lives in the Heights, but has been spotted at Cobble Hill Park by my BH, I believe, and LT lives here in CH – pretty sure.
