more4less- you missed the point of my comment.
But thanks DH for your answer. Just curious that’s all. I usually think we all just stick to our own hoods on a daily basis. Travel b/t BK can be arduous for those of us without cars.
(Moe’s, Rice obviously didn’t meet the needs of the nabe)
“DH- no offense and maybe this is for the open thread, but don’t you live in Williamsburg? Why do you care about places in Fort Greene?”
I like hanging out in Ft Greene. It’s a 5-10 minute car ride. I actually looked pretty hard for an apartment there last year and it’s sad when good places in any neighborhood get shut down bc of landlord greed.
Pretzel, DH or anyone is not precluded from commenting about something cause he/she doesnt live in the hood. especially when the dude was a customer at this spot.
dh if the new place takes reservations ill treat you, if we have to wait at the bar for an hour first its your treat…

a rock solid Indian food joint would do well. their rice dishes would cover folks who miss RICE. am amazed that Indian joint a few blks away is still open – food and svc very so so
that sucks!!
Moe’s closing is old news. Something about the landlord and greed.
Still, yet another contentious place of respite (some loved, some hated)
