All one-bedrooms, the affordable units are set at an area median income of 130 percent.
Eligible incomes range between $76,972 and $124,930 for households of one to three people.
Of the affordable apartments, there are four one-bedroom units and a pair of two-bedroom units.
The corner manse, which had a graceful porch and tower, await permits to replace it with modern, glassy apartments.
A standalone Arts and Crafts house -- a rare survivor on Bushwick Avenue -- has been demolished for apartments, likely condos.
BuzzBuzzHome spotted DOB plans for (big surprise!) a hotel planned near Queens Plaza. Arc Architecture + Design Studio is designing a 14-story, 65-unit hotel at 41-32 27th Street, between Queens Plaza North and 41st Avenue. According to BuzzBuzzHome, T Hotel Property Management LLC bought the property in October for $3,500,000. At this point the hotel operator is unknown. This is just a few blocks away from a second location of the Hotel Vetiver under construction at 38-28 27th Street.
