pollstation1.jpgSpeaking of politics…While New Yorkers won’t weigh in on the presidential race officially for about another month, we thought the occasion of today’s New Hampshire primary would be a good opportunity to see which way Brooklynites (or a certain blog-reading subsection, at least) were leaning. Please take the five-question Democratic Primary Poll on the link. The polls will close at 8 o’clock tonight and we’ll have the results for you in the morning. In the meantime, any predictions for how the real primary will go today?

  1. Mitt Romney does seem most presidential. In the old school sense, because he seems the most slick and dishonest.

Which is why he’s losing. He’s same ole same ole. Hillary has this problem too.

  2. 1st Choice Edwards
    2nd Choice Obama

newsouthsloper, you are a crybaby loser. Never anything constructive; you never even gave your choice. You’re just a whining turd deposited on the north bank of the Gowanus by receding floodwaters.

  3. I like Clinton.

But for some reason, Mitt Romney seems the most “presidential”. You know, he has the president haircut, talks like a president.

I like Obama as well. He is getting the young people interested, which is a double edged sword. It’s good to get young people involved, but it’s also annoying to have a bunch of punks running around blindly supporting a person of which they know nothing of their policies.

  4. Obama would choose Biden as his running mate. So would Hillary if she pulled up in the ranks and won the nomination.

Biden helps compensate for Obama’s lack of international experience. It would be a great ticket.

  5. The two-party election is a joke. Whoever gets elected will not change the politics in Washington. We’re inspired now, but we’ll be complaining next year when the new president steps in. It’s sickening. There must be a way out of this hoax.

  6. True that, 10:46!

I am a liberal, but here in NYC, I know several Republicans. It’s not like they don’t exist here. And I find NYC Republicans to be not too far from my moderate-Democrat views, because they are socially liberal and fiscally conservative. (talking about the educated ones anyway, not the Italian dudes in Bay Ridge, no diss to Bay Ridge, just sayin’)

Plus look how many New Yorkers vote for conservative mayors.
