Which Way Are Readers Leaning in the Presidential Race?
Speaking of politics…While New Yorkers won’t weigh in on the presidential race officially for about another month, we thought the occasion of today’s New Hampshire primary would be a good opportunity to see which way Brooklynites (or a certain blog-reading subsection, at least) were leaning. In the meantime, any predictions for how the real primary will go today?

“How much of a charismatic personality has any VICE president ever had?”

Lyndon Johnson?
Richard Nixon?
Theodore Roosevelt?
I only am long winded when I need to be. So don’t get me started, 11:02. Who said anything about Pakistan and North Korea?
Anyone who thinks the current administration has done a good job with anything whatsoever, both in foreign affairs, and domestically, is not only deluded, but blind.
Our dollar is worth less and less every day, we are losing our young men and women stupidly in a war where the soldiers don’t die in battle, fighting for an objective, but are blown up driving down the road. Our rights as Americans are being taken away from us in the name of “national security”, and we torture people.
No foreign country did that to us, we did it to ourselves. Let’s stop blinding waving the flag, and get people in office who can make a difference. I am not naive enough to think any one man or woman can do it alone or in a year or two, but the last 8 years in this country have set us back 100 years.
See – you got me going.
i wish kucinich had a chance.
here’s a nice site that lists where everybody stands:

i’m actually just worried about my voting machine actually recording my votes correctly.

You said conservative, not republican. I am aware of the parties of both people. i was pointing out their policies in office were not conservative.
conservative/liberal are not synonymous with republican/democrat anymore.
is the governator a conservative because he is the republican governer of california? most of his policies are more liberal than any moderate democrat.
See, 11:05 proves everything I was saying about American voters.
It’s all about the candidates’ personalities and nothing about their experience.
Morons.
I was talking about Biden running as VICE president you dolt. How much of a charismatic personality has any VICE president ever had? VICE presidential candidates are chosen because they compensate for something lacking in the presidential candidate. That’s all. They are never chosen as the “star” of the ticket.
I think Romney will make a push. He is definately the most intelligent of all the Repub candidates. McCain just pisses me off.
I would like to see an Obama/Clinton ticket in any order.
I just don’t know if the country is ready for a black/female president.
Biden comes across as an arrogant, pedantic finger-pointer.
I can’t stand him. He has zero appeal except maybe with pundits. Zero appeal.
And besides who needs Delaware?
Giuliani is running as a conservative for President, 11:01.
You know that, right?
There is a difference between East Coast Republican and red state Republicans, but they ARE Republicans.
And Bloomberg is a fiscal conservative, which for most Republicans is what makes someone a Republican in their eyes. Not the religious stuff.
Montrosee is one of those new yorkers who thinks all of the world’s problems are caused by his own country.
The loons in places like North Korea and Pakistan are not really all that bad.
I second the request that he please keep his insightful comments as brief as possible.
