This top-floor rental at 158 President in Carroll Gardens isn’t really floating our boat. It’s a one-bedroom, one-bathroom, plus an awkward looking loft that appears to cut up the main living space. It seems like a bit of a stretch to be calling this place a duplex, as the broker does in the listing verbiage….
This top-floor rental at 158 President in Carroll Gardens isn’t really floating our boat. It’s a one-bedroom, one-bathroom, plus an awkward looking loft that appears to cut up the main living space. It seems like a bit of a stretch to be calling this place a duplex, as the broker does in the listing verbiage. Given all that, the price of $2,450 a month doesn’t seem like a bargain to us. Thoughts?

Regardless of the stupid loft thing… is this a $2500/mo part of brooklyn? Seems a bit of a stretch even without that thing.

I wonder what the ceiling height is, in the loft. The best part about that place is that there’s an office/den, which isn’t the loft. The location is decent, but this place is overpriced. For 2K, it’s not bad.
The refrigerator is running out of the kitchen.
