Intricate, dark wood details throughout, a pretty incredible looking (six-foot wide!) stairway, even stained glass in the kitchen and bathroom windows. Most apartments don’t come like this one. This 7,000-square-foot four bedroom at 108 8th Avenue is going for $18,000 a month.

I’d think this would be a place where someone who’s having a house renovated nearby would reside for a while.
Perhaps the family who bought 276 Berkeley place for 3.9 million needs a place to put up their feet as their house gets an overhaul.
Or something to that effect.

It is completely amazing, but… (there’s always a but) you can rent a triplex in a townhouse off Park Avenue for this price. As incredible as this apartment is, location, location, location. I don’t know if there are many transient millionaires with a hankering to live in Park Slope. Doesn’t the CEO tribe prefer the Upper East Side?

OMG, this absolutely out of control. I’ve never seen a rental this over the top.
I’m not really up on the market for $18,000 a month rentals, but it seems to me that you can’t get much more lavish than this.
