We like the looks of this two-bedroom, floor-through rental at 71 1st Place. There are just enough details to give the place personality but it’s nothing too fancy. The house is 25 feet wide, so there’s plenty of space, and use of the garden is allowed. Top that off with a free, communal laundry room and we’re sold. The rent to live in this neck of Carroll Gardens, between Court and Clinton? $3,400 a month. What do you think?

  1. Isn’t it illegal to advertise that as a 2-bedroom. The 2nd “bedroom” has no windows according to the floorplan (and according to the laws of physics). New York requires all bedrooms to have at least one window, no?
