Rental of the Day: 315 Garfield Place
We don’t know how nice a one-bedroom apartment has to be to pay $4,500 for it, but this one at 315 Garfield Place in Park Slope is pretty nice. The floor-through obviously gets points right off the bat for its location right off the park. There’s also a big kitchen, living room, and bedroom, and…

The floor-through obviously gets points right off the bat for its location right off the park. There’s also a big kitchen, living room, and bedroom, and the backyard is downright drool-worthy. And check out this rental’s history: According to StreetEasy, the rental price has been sporadic as the house itself goes on and off the market. The lowest offered rent was $3,200 in 2008. Think they’re shooting too high this time around? (And remember, you can also buy the whole place for upwards of $8M….)

Connelly Mansion by a huge margin
I agree with you 11217, the house is fantastic and I liked the interior pictures better than the shots I saw of the Connelly mansion post renovation.
> the fleshpots of W’burg
+1
I would pay the 4.5k if it was this big PLUS add on a real 2nd bdrm
certainly a celebrity price point.
Don’t most people who can afford $4,500 a month for a one-bedroom want to be next door to Central Park not Prospect Park? Or at least a swinging high rise near the fleshpots of W’burg?
Yep, that’s the one NYGuy7. And I’ve heard a few celebrities checked the place out in the last couple months. Will be interesting to see if it finally sells and for how much. I think I actually like this house more than the Connelly mansion which sold I think for 8.5 or so.
Ahhh, I remember now, this was the fantastic looking house with the bad choice for the front door.
If your price point is 4,500 for a rental in park slope you’d probably want at least two bedrooms.
