President St. is a bargain. Wish I could buy two.
Price of Greene is actually way over 2mm once you do the necessary renovations. It has been on the market a LONG time.
Didn’t Prospect Place sell for $455M in Oct.of 2004.
That’s a lot of appreciation for 2 years!
That’s some lot though 50′ by 150′
Is the house landmarked?
if the prspct pl one goes for 7 figs i’ll be surprised. that owner/broker either doesn’t seriously want to sell, or is out of his/her mind.
Greene is beautiful. (even with the necessary reconfiguration)
20 foot brownstone on a great block.
That one sells quickly!
PS. I’m not the owner and have nothing to do with the listing.
Wrong picture, for the bainbridge listing. I was wondering how a limestone was that price, even in Bed-Stuy. It’s a brick building.
Greene Ave is very pricey for a house that would need to be substantially reconfigured for use by a family; you’re starting out with a one-bedroom duplex! I know I wouldn’t want a living room and master bedroom on the parlor floor, and the kitchen one floor down, for starters.
Re: Bergen
Why no pictures on the Douglas Elliman website. Dead giveaway!!!
I’m going to check it out though.
Even if it needed a lot of work, that price is still too cheap. There must be something else wrong here.
Projects?
Commercial interests?
Something?
